Direct Debit Payment Enablement Service
You can now set-up a direct debit payment enablement service direct from the primary card attached to your eccount to simplify how you make your regular payments.
To set-up a direct debit payment service simply follow the three steps below:
- Download and print the Direct Debit Payment Service Form by clicking here
- Complete the form

Return the form along with your blank direct debit mandate provided to you by your service provider/supplier (the direct debit originator) to:

Funds for your direct debit payment service will be taken from your card on the date specified on your form (or the date specified on your statement from your supplier/service provider), providing you have sufficient funds available including the service fee.
Your direct debit payment service takes at least 5 working days to set-up. If your first payment is due before this time, please ensure you make alternative arrangements in the mean time.
If your direct debit payment fails during the initial attempt, we will automatically try a second time. If it fails a second time, it will not be resubmitted and you will be required to set-up your direct debit payment service again and will incur a £2.50 provisioning charge to do so.
If you experience problems completing the form, please contact the Customer Care number on the reverse of your prepaid card.
To amend or cancel a direct debit payment service please inform The Sun Customer Care in writing by 1st Class recorded delivery post with a minimum of fourteen days prior notice.
Fees Table

| One off set-up (provisioning) charge for each direct debit payment required | £2.50 |
| First direct debit payment in the month | £2.50 |
| Direct debit payments thereafter in the month | £1.50 |
If you have insufficient funds on the card the payment is being deducted from, the payment will not be made and you will be charged an admin fee of £5.
Please ensure you have received confirmation from The Sun Card Customer Care that your mandate has been set-up before cancelling your existing direct debit to ensure you do not miss payments.
